Very promising results in the HMR filters tests to remove heavy metals from drinking water.
INGEOBRAS (Inngen.io) has carried out a project to test the absorption and retention capacity of different materials to remove heavy metals from drinking water.
In recent weeks we have been testing materials to remove pollutants from water, specifically:
- Arsenic
- Copper
- Cadmium
- Manganese
- Nickel
- Zinc
- Iron
- Chromium

The trials have been conducted during the period from 11 January 2021 to 5 March 2021. The results have been very promising.
During the tests, two samples were taken at the outlet of each material for each retention time evaluated. In this way we established the optimum HRT to ensure maximum removal efficiency for each type of pollutant.
We have succeeded in taking heavy metal removal technology to the most efficient and competitive level in the market.
These solutions are already in the commercial phase. Ingeobras offers different services that adapt to each type of consumer:
- Upgrading of existing plants
- Tailor-made solutions
- Compact containerised solutions
