Results of the AOPAPER project: XI Conference of Young Researchers in Chemistry and Physics of Aragón.

Last Thursday, November 21, 2024, we had the privilege of presenting the latest developments of our AOPAPER project at the XI Conference of Young Researchers in Chemistry and Physics of Aragón, held at the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Zaragoza. The event brought together researchers from across the region and featured an engaging program, including a keynote lecture, poster sessions, and fast-paced lightning talks.

AOPAPER: Advanced Oxidation Processes to Accelerate Water Reuse in the Pulp and Paper Industry

At this conference, we shared the objectives and results of AOPAPER, a project that focuses on Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs) as an innovative solution to improve water management in the pulp and paper industry. Our approach combines the implementation of advanced techniques such as UV/O3 and photo-Fenton, with energy optimization and water cycle closure, promoting a circular economy.
