OXI-TWIN project part of the blog of the 4th Connected Industry 4.0 Congress
Nowadays we live in a world where processes are increasingly interconnected through the Internet of Things (IoT). A fusion is created with the latest technological developments to achieve a perfect combination that integrates the physical with the virtual environment.
In fact, Industry 4.0 is already considered the fourth industrial revolution.
In this context, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism of the Government of Spain is organising the 4th Conference on Connected Industry 4.0 on 13 and 14 October under the slogan “Re-boosting digitisation in the Post-Covid Industry”.
INGEOBRAS is fully aware of this new reality. For this reason, the company combines its extensive knowledge of the complete water cycle with the latest technological developments to achieve a digital evolution in the water industry. The innovative activity of INGEOBRAS has been recognised nationally and internationally, leading important innovation projects.
One of these projects focused on the digitalisation of the sector is the OXI-TWIN project, developed by INGEOBRAS and PIRINEOS METAL, which has been selected as part of the CIC 40 blog.
OXI-TWIN aims to drive the digital transformation towards Industry 4.0 in the water sector by fully digitising water treatment plants. To achieve this, it proposes to use direct mineralisation techniques (based on advanced oxidation) with a sensor system integrated into a 4.0 platform.
