Inngen.io, beneficiary of a Eurostars project called BIOEnergHII

Inngen.io has been selected as a beneficiary of the Eurostars project called “BIOEnergHII,” in collaboration with the Swiss company UniSieve. This project aims to revolutionize the market by developing an innovative solution for the production of green energy from wastewater in the food and beverage industry. It will generate a sustainable and environmentally friendly energy source.

BIOEnergHII: A pioneering solution for Green Energy Production

The BIOEnergHII project focuses on generating a blend of biohydrogen and biomethane gas from industrial wastewater, providing a unique and environmentally friendly alternative.

Inngen.io will lead the development of technologies for biohydrogen and biomethane production, with the goal of advancing the technological maturity of both processes, which will synergistically work together to maximize energy production.

The project will be carried out at Inngen.io’s Innovation and Development Center. The performance of both technologies operating together at different working scales will be analyzed in order to optimize their operation.

On the other hand, UniSieve will be in charge of gas purification. This is a crucial stage for the commercialization of the green energy produced, guaranteeing its quality and efficiency.

This initiative is part of the Eurostars program, supported by Eureka. An intergovernmental initiative to support cooperative R&D in the European context, with the aim of promoting the competitiveness of European companies through the promotion of innovative technological projects. In this case, Inngen.io and UniSieve will join forces to carry out this disruptive project.
